OUR WORK
At ARBPE, we take great pride in the work that we do, and treat each and every job as a top priority. Here are a few of our past projects that highlight the care and quality that we bring to every job site.
LOCAL LAW 97
CARBON EMISSIONS REDUCTION
ARBPE continues to provide design documents for NYC Local Law 97 Carbon Emissions Reduction. This company plays an integral role in designs for removal of various carbon generating equipment to meet the carbon emission goals.
We work with clients to provide alternate heating and cooling equipment that still meets the required demands of the spaces. Our designs allow for the removal of boilers and fuel oil burning systems to be replaced with electric and heat pump systems. For larger central systems we design glycol-based systems that provide simultaneous heating and cooling with adiabatic drycoolers.

ARBPE prides ourselves on being able to provide our clients with efficient and affordable equipment that lower operating costs and reduce the carbon footprint of each job site.

Hurricane sandy relief
ARBPE is proud of the work we've done to assess damage and assist in reconstruction of homes and businesses that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Our work was part of an instrumental community-wide effort to help the New York/ New Jersey area recover from the storm, and to get the local infrastructure running effectively and efficiently in the wake of the damage.

140 WEST STREET
Post 9/11 Restorations
Commissioned by the New York Telephone Company in 1923 and completed in 1927, the West Street building was the first in New York City to conform to the 1916 Construction Code for skyscrapers. One of the first art deco designs implemented in a skyscraper, the building earned it's landmark status in 1976.

Prior to Sept. 11 the West street building housed telecommunications equipment which served 300,000 voice lines and 3.6 million data circuits. The equipment supported 14,000 businesses- including the New York Stock Exchange- as well as 200,000 residential customers, making West Street one of the largest telecommunication switching facilities in the U.S.

ARBPE is proud to have played an integral role in assessing damage sustained by the September 11th attacks and implementing designs to immediately restore or replace sections of the badly damaged telecommunications equipment rooms. Thanks to the hard work of our engineers and cooperation with our partners all of the telecommunication, voice, and data circuits in place prior to Sept. 11 have been restored and the building's infrastructure has been upgraded to meet the demands of the 21st century. The building's office spaces have also been completely refurbished to welcome home its 1,700 administrative residents
